Jason was born in the UK but spent his schooling years in Perth, obtaining his veterinary qualifications from Murdoch University. Jason worked as a qualified veterinary nurse for 14 years prior to becoming a Vet. After graduation in 2003 Jason joined the team at Your Pets Vet Inglewood.

Jason knew from a young age that he wanted to be a Vet, after having a multitude of pets growing up and regularly collecting local blue tongue lizards and de ticking them and feeding them up before returning them to the wild. During his teens Jason enjoyed vocational work in lots of small animal practices in the metropolitan area and small & large animal hospital in Broome. It was in Broome that Jason helped raise an orphaned wallaby until it was old enough to be released into the Broome Zoo.

Being a part of the Your Pets Vet team has enabled Jason to see a diverse amount of both surgical and medical cases of which he thoroughly enjoys and a wide range of pets that he said has been a real privilege being a part of their health care from puppyhood to old age.

Jason shares his home with his lovely partner Nikki who is a chef who was born in the beautiful countryside in Yorkshire. Jason and Nikki adopted a rescue dog called Fergus who is a Corgi/dachshund/JR terrier X 4 years ago when he was 6 weeks of age. He was brought into our Veterinary Centre after being found behind a shed in a house in Midland.

Jason is an avid soccer fan (ARSENAL is his team) and enjoys comedy nights, sporting events, music concerts (English 80’s music and Madness his favourite), bike riding, swimming, walking Fergus on the beach, travelling down to the South West and extensive overseas travel. Jason enjoys the Perth nightlife and has started to learn the art of brewing home brew beer over the past 2 years. One of Jason’s best memories at university was when he performed comedy skits with fellow students at the Vet school.
