Courtney was raised in Singapore and from a young age, has always known she wanted to be a vet. Having had dogs, hamsters, fish and even terrapins growing up, she spent a big portion of her childhood caring for and learning about animals. Before moving to Perth to study veterinary medicine, she spent a year in Singapore Zoo as a zookeeper where she worked mainly with pandas and primates. The highlight of her time in vet school was travelling to Thailand to study wildlife conservation and elephant medicine. After graduating from vet school, Courtney spent a year in Perth Vet Specialists as an intern, spending most of her time in the Oncology, Emergency and Medicine department. Her main interests are small animal medicine and emergency, soft tissue surgery, and dentistry. Courtney enjoys watching live music, going on hikes and travelling around WA.
